ITALY: Rome's Borghese Palace

 I have been to Rome before, but, I had never heard of the Borghese Palace, so it was a new place for me to explore. 

I now ask myself, "How is it that I had never heard of the Borghese Palace before?"

ITALY: Rome's Pantheon

The Pantheon is my favourite building in Rome. I think it is because it is so well preserved.

The exterior does not get me excited in a city of magnificent old buildings. But the interior is fascinating. 

Roman legend has it that the original Pantheon was dedicated to Romulus, their mythological founder, after he ascended to heaven from that site.

ITALY: Rome by Night

Rome is so pretty by night. 

The city does a great job of lighting up their beautiful buildings, statues and monuments.

The Next Leg of the Journey

We have been in London and the UK from June 15th to September 1st. The time has gone very quickly.

London is a city with so many things to do and see. There is the old history, the streets and buildings that have stood the test of time and seen many feet walk their cobblestones and pass by their doors. 

There are the old traditions that continue to fascinate visitors from around the world.
