LONDON: Foodie Heaven

If you are a Foodie, Borough Market is definitely a destination for you!

It is tucked under London Bridge and has a history spanning over a 1,000 years.

It has had different iterations over the centuries, going from a wholesale market to now a retail market.

With over 100 stalls covering about 4.5 acres, Borough Market is also one of the largest food markets in London

There are street-food vendors for a lunch, takeaway prepared food, fresh produce, cheeses, fish, meat, spices, and much more.

Depending on your strategy, an option is to go hungry and eat there.

Or, another strategy is to eat before you go and shop wisely and in moderation.

There are always many choices to quench your thirst. The traditional beer, cider, mulled wine in the winter, or, a new favourite of mine, Pimm's.

And then there is always something for the adventurous willing to try new things.

Or perhaps you might find a little Christmas gift for someone on your list - Naughty or Nice - your choice.

Yumm! Looks like lots to choose from. I used to love Pimm's too - mostly because I was a huge Rod Stewart fan and had read that he drank it !! Hope you had some good food to eat to go with it.
