We are trying to slow things down and decided to spend a month in San Miguel de Allende.
It is a colonial-era city in Mexico’s central highlands.
It is known for its baroque Spanish architecture, thriving arts scene and festivals.
It has a population of about 150,000.
San Miguel de Allende is widely regarded as one of the cultural capitals of Mexico.
In the city’s historic center is the stunning neo-Gothic church, Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with dramatic pink towers.
The church is an architectural statement. They proudly compare it to the cathedral in Cologne, Germany.
It makes a stunning backdrop for photos.
It is easy to see why it has attracted so many expats and immigrants from the US and Canada.
These two wandering nomads really like San Miguel.
But we're not ready to be adults again and settle down. Not quite yet.

One of the most colourful places I've ever visited.
Followed closely by Aberdeen Scotland.
San Miguel such a beautiful place glad you got to stay a month. Happy Trails 👋👋
