Victoria is on Canada's west coast on Vancouver Island.
It is on our radar as a place to possibly settle down if/when we decide to be stable adults again.
The harbour is in the city centre.
From Victoria Harbour you can go whale watching, catch an international ferry south to 3 ports in Washington State, catch a float plane to Vancouver, take a water taxi in the city, or, catch a popular cruise ship.
The iconic Empress Hotel has a bird's-eye view of the harbour.
Victoria is the capital of the province of BC, and the legislature building overlooks the harbour.
Victoria has the mildest winters in Canada, which definitely ticks some boxes for a place to, possibly, some day, put down roots.
