COSTA RICA: Tamarindo Nightlife

Tamarindo is on the NW, which is the Pacific side, of the country.

It's a small town that has blossomed with tourism because of the beaches and surfing.

It is positioned beautifully for sunsets.

People line the beach to watch.

As expected, there are a lot of restaurants along the beach.

I am speechless. Competition must be tough to attract customers. I am not sure if this would draw people in for their nachos, or, deter them.

Thursday nights they have a Night Market.

It seemed much bigger at night than the small parking space during the day.

They must get a lot of tourists, because the prices are definitely North American prices.

This was a cute little group of "local traditional dancers."

And what Night Market would be complete without a bar?

And musicians.

I must confess, our nights start early, for the Senior's Specials.

😁
