MEXICO: Baja California Sur

We were staying at the tip of Baja California Sur just outside of Cabos San Lucas.

We decided to do some exploring.

We thought it would be pretty to drive up the east side of the peninsula, which is along the Gulf of California.

We chose a route that had a busy day for traffic.

The sand road was pretty easy to follow.

We did have to share the road with the 4 legged locals.

We got stopped for proof of license and insurance.

The sandy beaches are stunning.

La Paz is about 1/3 of the way up the east coast.

They have done a great job of making a promenade on the water front.

We also stopped in Todos Santos.

There we met up with friends,

and went for lunch on the beach

Many thanks to Jacquie and Steve for expanding our social horizons.
