San Miguel by night is just as interesting as it is by day.
Between the stunning lighting of beautiful buildings and the cultural events there is always something to see or do at night.
The show stopper is the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel church which dominates the city’s skyline.
There has often been free cultural performances in front of it in the evenings while we have been in San Miguel de Allende.
The lights are dramatic and the church provides a stunning backdrop for the performances.
They always say in show biz that you should never share a stage with kids because they'll steal the show.
At the end of jazz week we were super excited to see a free Gypsy Kings concert in front of the church.
It was a small space, everyone had awesome views and everyone was so respectful of the performers and other people in the audience.
We went to a guitar performance in the Bibliotech's theatre.
We also went to a Flamenco performance in the Biblitech.
And always free, from the hills of San Miguel there are beautiful vistas of the night lights in the city. The sun sets over the mountains creating a dramatic start to a fall evening.
Many thanks to Denise and Tenel for coming down to share some of the nightlife with us.
