What possess two people "somewhat north of 60" to sell pretty much everything and head off into the wild blue yonder in search of new experiences and new adventures?

I can't really answer that ponder. 

We have had the privilege of growing up in Canada, living in the US, had expat assignments in Australia and the UK, and we figured there is a big beautiful world out there and a whole lot more to explore. 

Oh, and maybe because we decided that we weren't getting any younger.
