Sometimes some of the best scenes are by night when the city is lit up to impress.
Florence is one of those cities.
Up on a hilltop is the Piazzale Michelangelo with a huge bronze replica of the David and astounding views of the city.
A storm was threatening and then the heavens opened, creating a beautiful evening sky and a rainbow.
